Noi Bai is the world’s most improved airport


Skytrax on March 16 released its annual evaluation of airfields, airports and airlines around the world in 2016.

Noi Bai International Airport was also named in the list of 100 world’s best airports of Skytrax. It ranked 82nd after gaining 136 spots up from last year.Skytrax World Airline Awards are coveted quality accolades for the world airline industry. Travellers from across the globe take part each year in the world’s largest airline passenger satisfaction survey to decide the award winners. The World Airline Awards are a global benchmark of airline excellence and widely known as the Passengers Choice Awards.Noi Bai Airport entered the list of 100 best airports in the world and received the title of “most improved airport world” by Skytrax.Skytrax conducted a survey of passengers at 555 international airports worldwide. All customers based on standards of service quality and their satisfaction to mark for the most favorite airport.Details are all services of VIP room, toilet gas, sales services, meals, entering and exiting procedures, security, waiting time to receive baggage and so on.In 2014, Noi Bai was rated among the worst airport in Asia by the website “The Guide to Sleeping in Airports” and the position in Skytrax was 218 in 2015.Edward Plaisted, Chairman of Skytrax, said: “Customers have voted for Noi Bai in the system of global ranking. The reputation of Noi Bai Airport means that it has affected passengers positively.”According to officials of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV), this title shows remarkable improvement of Noi Bai since the terminal T2 began operatingin 2015.
